Dales High Way 2019

I had first visited Northern England in 2015 when I walked Lady Anne’s Way.  I came back in 2018 for both the Dales Way and the Cleveland Way.  In 2019 much of my 3 months of walking would be in Northern England.  It was a place that had captured my heart and, luckily, was lighter on the wallet than some other places.

After dipping my toes into Wales for the first time, and then doing my obligatory training sessions in the Shropshire Hills, I headed north to walk the Dales High Way, a walk that, I hoped, would combine what I had enjoyed about both Lady Anne’s Way and the Dales Way.
