Dales High Way 2019 Day 4

Wednesday 7th August 2019 Sedburgh

My legs had ached throughout the night, so it was not exactly optimal sleep.  I made a packed lunch with the supplies that had been provided, then it was off by about 8:30 and down past the Ribblehead viaduct and on to the brilliant Blea Moor.

I came around Whernside, running just over its shoulder.

Then it was down into Dentdale where the Dales High Way and the Dales Way use the same path for the section past Dent.

Then back to some hill walking for the short section over to Sedburgh.

I got to Sedburgh around 2 so took advantage of the library to sit and read for some of the afternoon.  Then I found the B&B, had a shower, and found a pub to eat in.  At some point today I slipped on a rock, which pulled something in my right knee, so hopefully that will not impact the walking.
