West Highland Way 2019
In September of 2019 I was well into my 3rd month of walking, having already completed the Peninne Way, along with a few other LDWs, and returned to Scotland to do the West Highland Way. I had done a fair bit of walking in Scotland, but so far I had not found a walk I enjoyed overly much. I had seen some amazing photos of some of the scenery for the WHW so I was keen to see if it would live up to my anticipation. The only longish day was day 3, with all of the others pretty much half days. If I do it again I would take 5 days (perhaps even 4), not 6. Read about my West Highland Way experience through the day links below.
Day 1: Milngavie to Drymen
Day 2: Drymen to Rowardennan
Day 3: Rowardennan to Crianlarich
Day 4: Crianlarich to Bridge of Orchy
Day 5: Bridge of Orchy to Kinlochleven
Day 6: Kinlochleven to Fort William
