South West Coastal Path 2015 Day 5
Saturday 29th August 2015
The walk back to Woolacombe took me 30
minutes, where I purchased a bag of apples, then wound my way through the
barrows (sand dunes) southward.
Then out and around Baggy Point.

That was before crossing
Croyde Sands with its shallow river bisecting the beach.
At Saunton I purchased a sandwich, drink, banana and shortbread before doing some risky road walking.

Braunton Burrows was next, which quickly
became monotonous and boring.
Eventually the rivers Taw and Caen changed the scenery.
It was a slight detour into Braunton for the night, where I caught a Spurs match on telly and had a lamb and mint pie with a cider.
