Pennine Way Day 8
Saturday 31st August 2019 Tan Hill
After the 4 nights in Reeth, and now having increased my skills in navigating, I returned to the Pennine Way by walking a section of Wainwright’s Coast to Coast across to Keld. I did not go into Keld, but turned northward when reaching the Pennine Way once more.
The views were vast but there was little change to the scenery as I made my way over to Tan Hill Inn, which I could see well before I got there.

The Tan Hill Inn is reportedly the highest pub in the U.K. I ate dinner and went to bed rather early, but the Madness tribute band that played that night kept me from having the best of sleeps.
