Pennine Way Day 9

Sunday 1^st September 2019 Middleton-in-Teesdale

After leaving around 8:30 the views for the next 2 or 3 hours did not change much, but I made good progress.

I slowed down my pace after that.  The following photos may not be in the exact order I encountered these locations, as I had some on the phone and some on the camera.

Even so, I still made it to Middleton-in-Teesdale by 2:30 so I checked into the hotel, bought some snacks and drinks, had a bath, then got some fish ‘n’ chips from the chippie across the road just before they closed at 4 p.m.  Then it was a very relaxing early night.
