Cotswold Way 2014 Day 7
Monday 4th August 2018 Tormarton
As I had walked today’s section yesterday
afternoon, I effectively had a rest day.
So, what did I do? Went walking
of course!
I backtracked to Old Sodbury and headed down to Chipping Sodbury to have a look around. It is a quaint market town, but it felt a little touristy for me.
It was back to Old Sodbury’s pub, “The Dog”,
for a drink and a chat with the locals.
After that I just sat under a tree on a hill and read for a few
hours.
Then it was back to the B&B for a short while before heading back to the local pub again for some planned fish ‘n’ chips. Shortly after ordering my meal, who should walk in the door but Rick and Barb, who joined me for dinner, which gave me a chance to repay their generosity from the other night.
