Coast to Coast Day 11

Wednesday 9^th October 2019 Scarborough

I ended up walking this last stage of the, today rain-free, Coast to Coast trail with John and Val.  It seems John and I had similar interests so we chatted almost all of the way and often left Val behind.  Consequently I did not take a lot of photos today.  Also, once we hit the coast, the photos would have been the same as last year when I walked that section as part of the Cleveland Way.

At Robin Hood’s Bay we took photos at the final plaque.  Then I joined John and Val for fish ‘n’ chips before collecting my pack from a local drop-off point and catching a bus (most of the way) to the Scarborough YHA where I fully intended to base myself while walking the final 2 days of last year’s Cleveland Way walk, but that did not happen.  You can read about the 3 nights in Scarborough in the blog I’ve already posted.
