South West Coastal Path 2015 Day 36

Monday 29^th September 2015

Both yesterday and today included a lot of residential/urban walking – almost my least favourite type (after industrial).

This section has been washed away in recent years and had been rebuilt

There were 2 ferry crossings today, and I got to the second one at 1:50.  There were supposed to be hourly crossings, but the 2:10 was cancelled because the tide was too low, so I had to wait for the next one.
 

I was not staying in Exmouth, but at a B&B 5.5km, by road, inland from Exmouth but, because I continued along the coastal path and eventually took a path perpendicular to it to get to the B&B, it took some time to get to, arriving at 5:20.  A couple what was staying at the B&B gave me a ride to a restaurant and back again after.
