South West Coastal Path 2015 Day 19

Saturday 12th September 2015

It was a tough days walking, although “climbing” might be a better term as there were rocks all over the place that I had to contend with throughout the day.

As I approached Pendeen, the remnants of the tin mining industry became very obvious.

By the time I arrived in Pendeen Watch, my right ankle was tender, and then my left shin was aching in a similar manner to how it was 2 years ago during the Great Glen Way.  I limped to the B&B, a gypsy caravan, which was a unique experience.

I iced my shin before hobbling a fair distance up the road to the pub for dinner.
