St. Cuthbert's Way 2019 Day 2

Sunday 15th September Jedburgh to Kirk Yetholm

It was kippers for breakfast again!  I love ‘em, but, as I’ve mentioned on other posts, they do tend to repeat throughout the day, affecting the enjoyment of other foods consumed, such as lunch.

Technically the St. Cuthbert’s way starts in Melrose, which I had walked through 2 days previous, and cuts a fairly straight line across the Borders.  I, however, had just spent the past 5 days circumnavigating the Borders by walking the Borders Abbeys Way, and did not want to backtrack to Melrose to walk the first stage of the St. Cuthbert’s Way, so I started one day in (but still walked 5 days worth as I did this second stage twice because…)

Today was a repeat of Monday, just in reverse, so there was only one photo taken (as they were all taken on Monday); It was from the top of Wideopen Hill.

Back in Kirk Yetholm and Charles did my laundry again, bless ‘im.  As I had arrived fairly early I sat in the pub all afternoon.
