Shropshire 2023 Part 3

Wednesday, 12th July

I was reluctant to get out of bed, but eventually the mental argument I was having with myself that I had limited time back here in the U.K. got me moving.

I headed over to Church Stretton for a few supplies, and then walked a route, that I had researched, over to Wenlock Edge.  The boots felt good for the first 4 hours of walking before they started hurting.

I had envisaged Wenlock Edge differently than what I experienced, however I spent a little time walking along the top of it, along the edge of a few fields, then stopped under a copse to eat my sandwiches for lunch.

Once back at the bunkhouse, I didn't feel like eating, and went to bed early to read.

Part 4: Thursday the 13th - Saturday the 15th
