Cleveland Way 2018 Day 3
Sunday 12th August 2018
It was quite a long sleep. I fell asleep about 7:30 p.m., woke for an hour or so around 2:30 but then slept again until 6. I left around 7, walking through varied landscapes encountering lots of fell runners and cyclists.
I walked the Rosebury Topping offshoot, but
the weather was drizzly, so photos were not so long-reaching.
I arrived in Skelton shortly after midday, which was where I had booked for the night. I was rather disappointed in the place, seemingly rundown and poverty stricken. I had a drink in the hotel I was staying in, then found a bench outside and read for a few hours, half unsurprised when a rat ran past me at one point.
I got a takeaway pizza and took it back to my room to eat while I, uncharacteristically watched some television.
