Great Glen Way 2013 Day 5

My shin
was too painful to walk on for very long, so I had to make alternate
arrangements today. I hobbled a short
way down the road to where the local bus stopped, and waved it down, riding it
to my next destination; Spean Bridge. I
made it to my accommodation by 10:30 a.m. so sat outside and read until the mid
afternoon. They gave me ice for my shin,
and more reading occurred until I went to their restaurant for a steak ‘n’
kidney pie with chips and peas and a cider.
I made enquiries about doctors and hospitals, and discovered there is a
hospital in Fort William that I will no doubt be visiting tomorrow. Unfortunately I took no photos today.
